6AM we were chicken wrangling, to go to the processor. DH just left to go pick up the meat. I will have to take an "after picture." Here is the, "before."
The Silkie babies had scrambled eggs for breakfast .....
Birthin' babies in the big coop ..... Easter Egger hatching her own eggs (Delaware daddy). There are two, and they both look the same. She is still sitting on a Marans egg. I dunno if it is even fertile.
Tryin' to figure out the sex of this Jersey Giant (I see no pointy saddle feathers)......
I swear if s/he gets any taller s/he will be 5 foot tall! LOL
I tried to get a picture of one of my favorite Orps, but it is not very good.
AND, gettin' the stink eye from wanna be mama broody Polly(pictured above). I just moved her into a broody pen. She is NOT a happy girl. I may have just broke a broody!
I did rake out 4 runs, and cleaned out 4 pens and put in clean litter.

Well, I just don't know. Wynette has said all along that it is a pullet. Seminole says pullet, too. S/he is 17 weeks old. Can you see saddle feathers here? I just don'e see 'em. I don't even care what sex it is, as it is the only one I hatched from a breeder in Utah, and I will keep it no matter what. However, this last hatch (I kept some for myself) are all looking like girls, so maybe a roo would be good.
