I think winter is harder on humans and summer is harder on chickens. Truth be told, I hate is anywhere except between 50 and 70 degrees, LOL. At least in summer, you don't take your life in your hands getting water and food to them!

Visited Nugget and her babies in the Firetower. Poor Nuggs is dying to get out, but she says no thanks when she sees the snow. Look at this brave 3 week old Delaware baby. Nuggs was upset and was trying to get to it, LOL.

That del is an explorer! Those are some cute babies. Speaking of cute babies, I saw a baby in a buggy/shopping cart at Wally World this morning very intently "reading" The Shooters Bible. She couldn't have been more than 18 months old.

This is the time of year that I like to snuggle in with my three favorite guys, Bryan [DH], Ben [Gay], and Jack [Daniels].

Ok.....I just finished shoveling my driveway. First time EVER in my lifetime I have shoveled snow!!! For you folks from the "North"...please keep this stuff to yourselves from now on. We are hereby commencing "Global warming" in the south and will tolerate no more of this mess
