LH....must be feedin' him too much of that "human growth hormone".....causes fertility issues and causes "things" to shrink

I bet a dose of two of Viagra or Cialis and he'll be just fine

Don't mean to pick....in all seriousness, I would think that blood flow has somehow been slowed/blocked to that area. Heart issues perhaps?

Scott, I do not have those meds in my house do you? *snicker* if so send some and we can try it.

Not even for "shrunken comb disease?"

Ahem, family friendly, remember?

Kathy, I love Nugget. She was the only pullet from the few eggs that hatched out of the batch that Jody sent--not Jody's fault since that entire hatch was weird. If I get more Buff Orps, I want them from Jody. Nugget is a great hen, just a super mom.

She was so funny as a youngster. She really looked like she was wearing her big sister's clothes, she was so super fluffy then. Nugget is a large woman. She lost some weight this time but not all that much. Seems she's right back to her normal size now, but she is dropping feathers like all broodies seem to about this time. I hope she doesn't lose too many of them since we are only 1/3 into winter.

What gives, I noticed that it looks like some of mine are molting too and we have about 12 inches of snow on the ground and getting more. Tomorrow they will not be allowed out at all since it is supposed to be a high of 0 with the wind chill. I might just make them some oatmeal or grits tomorrow. DH will think I have gone over the edge
