Chipper is a cutie! I like his eye- seems nice and big, and his coloring is just fun~ I am getting fond of my mutt chicks, too- Boo and Belle absolutely charmed 5 youngsters who were out here today, they thought Ivan the Terrible had a great fluffy butt, and they FINALLY decided Emma was the prettiest - that decision took much pondering and discussion. But after all four chicks demonstrated that sitting on my shoulders and head is big fun, Boo and Emma obligingly sat on two of the little girls shoulders - and I was amazed they did it -there was a lot of giggling going on in that pen, and all four chicks were troopers with all these strangers around.

I forgot how much energy kids have - I am pooped out!

I have a teenage rooster with nearly identical markings.....sort of a white with black specked bird with rest in the saddle and back of the wings. But mine is a bantam cochin LOL.

Chipper is fearless and the friendliest chick we've ever had. He's just an amazing little guy. I'll miss him when someone takes him home with them, but dang it, I do not need another rooster around here!
