Oh Gloria Jean!
Please don't say it's back!!
Mine still haven't gotten rid of theirs, though the do sound considerably better since adding the bleach to their water. Also, the weather has been a bit better for them, and they've been getting out to free range more and more each day. I think that alone has had a lot to do with how they're feeling.
Some days, it feels like everything is coming down on my head and I don't even begin to have the ompf nor the time to address every issue out in my coops.
Fer instance: I've been trying to make the time to clean the coop for nearly 2 weeks now!
I just know it in my bones that as soon as I tackle that chore and get it out of the way, all of the birds in the big coop will begin to do much better. I really do think, Gloria Jean, that dust has a heck of a lot to do with this, this, this, whatever the heck this thing is! I know with my flock, it always sounds its worst out there about 2 hours after sunset.
I'll keep you and your flock in my prayers Gloria Jean. I know how much you love them and care about them! Ditto, sister! Ditto!
Cynthia! You changed your avatar!
Is that a staunch show of support for the Suedenator?
He's such a purty boy!
Nick, stick with us kid! We'll keep an eye on ya and help you to avoid some of those badder pitfalls. [badder? is that even a word?] Oh well, you know what I mean.
Well, so far this morning, GeeGee has just the one little goober. And boy, oh boy! Is she hard to get so much as a peek at! Every time I make a move towards the camera because she's actually within view, she darts right back under her mama!
Frustrating, to say the least!
So I sure hope y'all appreciate how long I had to sit perfectly still, with the brooder door open, just to get this one, fuzzy, crappy picture!
. But ooooooooh! Ain't she cute!!??
I think the little goober kept GeeGee up all night. She's been spending a lot of time this morning just sort of drifting off into little catnaps.
Babies will do that to ya, ya know!
