Lexie is alive this morning, thanks for asking. She came out with the rest of the girls. I heard cackling coming from her coop at about 5 a.m. and was afraid she had died. She's still acting fairly normal except for seeming very worn out at times.

That's good. I just realized that we hadn't heard about her and got all worried. Hopefully she'll wait a little longer to leave.

If it means she doesn't have to get weaker and weaker and fade away like Ivy, it would be okay for her to just go on to that Great Roost in the Sky. I love that girl and it's hard to watch them suffer. I'd selfishly love to keep her with me, but I'd just rather find her passed away suddenly than what I've been through before with the others.
