Cyn, yayayayayayay!! Hatchlings!! I'm assuming that you have a bigger brooder than the one I saw, you will sure need it!

I am getting my brooder ready- stopped by UPS and got one that's 4 x 4. Or close to that. That won't be large enough, but I can expand on it.

Updated pic of the lollipop kids - think i have two black tailed whites and one white. Sadly the greys i wanted formed in the egg but didnt end up hatching

The grow like weeds and they have such attitudes already - and i am AMAZED how three lil birds can make such a mess! LOL

Hey Kathy....they look great! I am so relieved

. I was so worried about them.

A few were born Saturday, most of the rest Sunday morning. Took them to the PO
Monday afternoon to express them to Kathy. They got stuck at the airport in JAX for two days.
They were almost 5 days old when Kathy picked them up this morning. We think the
only thing that saved them was Gro Gel. It was a last minute addition to my box order.
It is a nutrient powder you add 1/2 cup of water to. Looks like grainy green jello after you mix it up.
One pack is good for 100 chicks and I put 1/2 of it in with 26....

This was my first time shipping chicks...Kathy was my test

...I know I'll be using that Gro Gel for sure!
