ONE egg fertile, Ladyhawk. ONE EGG is all that big blue bag of feathers could muster up. ONE ! ! ! The luck we have all been having, I am sure it is not male. Not female either. It is probably a gynandromorph!

It's very nice, I'll take seven of them please.

I need 1 for each of these, Dels, EE's , CR's, BRs, Lav orps, blk orps, white orps, blue orps, buff orps and one for me when DW tells me to move out. Notice NO SILKIES! Oh wait Trylin just got some SLW's and I know I'll be getting some of those too. Each with a rooster of it's own. The neighbors will love me.

I think it is the "dog house," where your wife will be sending you!
By the way, you can put the blue, black, and splash Orps all in the same coop, ya know!

Well I did find a house for sale in AL for 17,000. It's a one bed one bath and that's all I need sweet heart. It's just like me too. A fixer upper.

My Delawares are out ranging. It's really cloudy, but only a light sprinkle occurred earlier. I am so impressed by these Dels' ranging skills! It was the first time I've seen this bunch out, and range like this. They are foraging through a foresty area, and where all the storage is. Going through old feeders and waterers, dog crates, perching on rakes, and searching through the feed and shaving storage. They also love the compost! Jay is the best one IMO. These are really impressing me. Plus, they don't go too far from home.

I still have to stay out while they're out do to hawks, though. I haven't seen any in a week or two, but not taking that risk again. Soon enough, these will be penned with the old girls, so that'll be a big bunch to watch out for.

OH, and my feed store is taking in Jay, so I can come visit him!! So glad he doesn't have to go all the way to SC anymore. And so far, he's sooooo sweet. I'm thrilled!

I'm going to a friend's now. Have a nice Saturday, everyone!
