I usually bring out the gnomes on April 1st. I was late this year and these are the only ones I brought out of the shed. They need to be re painted, that's why I took them out of the shed. I got my windchimes hung up too. My daffodils are up and getting ready to bloom too. This time last year they were already blooming.
Going to go look for a hammer so I can SMASH all my Gnomes!!

Hey Amy, next year let's plan a trip for spring so we can get away from all this yuck!!!

Laura, You and Amy do need a spring trip! It appears you are only gonna have winter and then summer. SNOW???? Isn't that just crazy?

It hit me again... I am sitting here crying about my grandmother... I loved her so much! The last thing we did together is watch the Sound of Music, so I am sitting here listening to song after song crying my eyes out... Ugh I hate this.

By the way... I miss x2 Farm! She needs to stop in. Some know her as Snowhunter.

I am DONE with spring coop cleaning and the rest of the mess! Last week all the birds were dusted, pens were cleaned, sprayed, new bedding, etc. Today was follow up care .... Worming and second dusting treatments done. I am so glad! I love it when I have helpers. It goes so quickly with those young bird catchers I have!

4H kids visited today. That was fun. Last night I went outside and was getting ready to lock up when a car drove into my driveway. It was a gal I used to work with. She yelled, "I finally found you! I have trying to find your house." She is a sweetie. She and her DH are preparing to build a chicken coop and were interested in looking around. I referred them to BYC for coop ideas. They plan to return for chickens when they have their coop built.

Good for you Kathy! I bet it feels great to have that done! We got our brooder box done today, now just need that broody hen.
