I know on some of them. On some of them, I'm about 90% positive, some could go either way. I think the BLRWs are a pair. The blue Rock is male, the black Rock is female for sure; not sure on the Buff Orpingtons but I just picked 3 pretty definite pullets and banded those to keep and am selling the rest. On the SLWs, not sure at all. No red combs yet on them, but can't swear to the sex on any of those. I'm keeping one of them, reserving one for a friend and selling one.

I bet I'll be culling the chick tomorrow morning. Yep. The EE. Not sure what's wrong with it's leg, but it hangs and can't bend. Dang it! At least I have experience in that field. Oh well.

Good lord! I can't even begin to think about my BYC page right now. New chicks arriving tomorrow from Privitte and I haven't even had the time to clean up the brooder from Charlotte's occupancy. The new kitchen range arrived as scheduled today, and promptly had to refuse it, due to a nasty ding in the oven door!

Maytag will be contacting us tomorrow or next week to schedule delivery of another unit. Thank heaven's I don't really need it at the moment. I'm still cooking on the stove/oven in the travel trailer! Not to mention I haven't got cabinet one in the kitchen yet

As soon as the boys from Home Depot left, we ran out to the base Thrift Store to pick up two great little upholstered arm chairs that I spotted yesterday. Got the pair for a song! [$25/pair] They're sound, but will need reupholstering. And yes, woman of many talents that I am, I can do that!!!

I'm thinking something in a deep forest green.

And then there is the child.

Anyone care to trade me one nearly 18 year old GD for a few good laying hens? I'll take anything not in a bantam!

Gawds but I swear that kid is trying to send me to an early grave with all of her recent shenanigans!

I gave her a list of three simple, easy peasy things to do yesterday while I was out at the base getting my prescriptions refilled, commissary shopping, and of course the stop at the thrift store. I was gone for a little over 5 hours. Care to guess how many of those three items she accomplished? Huh? Huh? Huh? Give up? I'll tell ya....Not. One. Danged. Thing!

Would it be considered evil of me that I'm looking forward to the day, with a great bit of glee, when the real world slaps her upside the head? Is that bad of me? Am I going to Hell on account of it? Don't know. Don't care.

At this point, I'm too dog dead tired to care!

He's coming to get the chicks after all, on Monday. I'm throwing in a couple of extras for him, too, so my feed bill will be less and he'll have some really nice quality chicks for a good price.

Hey from Belfast!! Spent the day here got to see where the Titanic was built. I have only seen 1 rooster so far and he was a gangly looking chook. Didnt get a pic because we were driving by in a bus. Tomorrow we are headed to Sligo which was made famous because the towns folk saw apparitions oooohhhh. Ill catch up later hope all is well!!!
