Now now, we must becareful not to ge political. It's just that I hate snow and the cold. DW is concerned because I don't go anywhere, but what do I need to go out for? I get her to stop at the library for me on the way home and with the price of gas what it is.

I just do out for feed and perhaps some groceries and come home. I love our house and with the internest I can bring you inside where it's warm.

I wish everyone well no matter the weather,

Rancher

Well, that's why Amazon can charge $7-$12.99 a kindle book- because it's probably cheaper than the gas!

Without getting too political

, I like Al Gore more than a whole bunch of other politicians.

I get my DVD's and books from the public library free. Many public librarys now have E books too. I see no reason to pay such prices for E books.

It makes no sense to me to buy a new copy of some books when you can find cheaper used on line or in second hand book store. The Thrift stores too have cheap books.

I bought two cook books for the same price as one book brand new. At the farmers market I found a copy of Lidia's Italian cooking for $8. It sell for $35 brand new. Even the shipping in some cases is free.

The kindle and E readers are a luxury few can afford.

In magazines subscribing is one way to save. Sharing with a friend is even better. Many magazines are now being saved and resold since the information is still good.

I surely don't envy your location right now!

The news cast said the midwest would need 10 feet of snow to make up for the drought. Therefore I'm praying that the midwest gets that 10 feet of snow. Not necessarliy all at once, but perhaps it would be better to just get it over with all at once.
