My boys have always worn shorts, year 'round. Probably because they were all in sports, and they just got used to it. It does look funny though - shorts and a jacket.

Yes, the midwest certainly needs moisture!

I think those of us in the "deep south" are a bit more sissies when it comes to cold weather!! We get some, but not with enough regularity to become accustomed to it

BTW - if that is your son, I certain meant nothing insultive by my comments, I hope none were taken

Raining and sleet here. Not really bad though. Temps in the thirties. Might need to get some ducks though. They've be in heaven.

I tell ya it's been a long time since we've gotten the snows of my youth. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

Woke up to three inches of new snow this morning, and it's still coming down Yay! I love the snow, but you should see the look on the faces of my girls. Ooooh! They are NOT happy! Not happy at all!!
