I'm feelin bad for the Dellie roo we got from Stacy, he's wantin some action, and none of the girls are laying of being anywhere near receptive

so I took one of the RIR girls and put her in the big coop with em, since she's a bit older and knows the Roo deal. Maybe he'll get the idea and work out some frusteration on her instead of all the younger girls

I wonder how I could find someone hatching Dellies right now, to buy some day olds from, that'd ship em... hmmmmmmm. I've got a plan in the works, that'd let me get all three Heritage breeds started much sooner then I thought.... Ahh if only I had an incubator...

Cyn, I'm so sorry to hear that Maxie is not doing well. Why is it always you!? And why almost always an issue with their reproductive track? I so hope that Maxie can make a turn around, and do it soon. I believe in miracles, even for sweet little chickens. And that goes for your little Valentina too Beth!

I hope that maybe you can give her some time to make it completely clear which way she's going to go. Please keep us posted.

Amy, I spoke to him about it and he said "Nope you cannot have it. With your volitile BP, history of stroke and cancer, you are getting Novacaine and danged little of that." when I questioned him further he said "I have never had a patient go into cardiac arrest in my office and I am not starting now...No"

So ummmmm no I get the shot but he did promise to sing to me next week when he gave me the shot. Apparently he has a lovely baritone voice according to the staff. So that is something I guess.

SnowHunter...the funny thing was that neither of us heard or felt her take the sausage right out of the bun and she had to jump about 3 feet up to get it...and so you know DeDe is no small girl. She is lovingly known as the Sumo Kung Fu Chicken. Because she stands and walks like a sumo wrestler and she has some awesome kung fu moves that she uses to beat up the rooster. She also has spurs. I got her from speckledhen for my precious boy Thor (my avatar) but he passed away before she was integrated into the flock.

If you hang around this thread much you will hear about "Cannonball", she is problem child. She is a dellie I hatched from speckledhen's eggs who decided to shoot out of the egg and across the bator into the other side of it and knock herself silly at hatch. she is always into something, peeping in windows, trying to get in the house, following my husband everywhere, following our truck, you name it...she is doing it or into it....including tormenting the cat

This is the poor unfortunate rooster that is trying to control this wild bunch...and failing I might add. Thor had them under control and Severus is just not respected by these women.
