No, no, no ..... These two are for you ...... I was walking backwards to try to get away from them. They think they are lap chickens.
I just know this is the baby picture of that first girl ..... pulling on my camera cord....
Sorry about Valentina! She must have just been fragile internally somehow.
Maxie drank her gallon waterer completely dry! She is perkier today, though still not out of the woods and feeling her abdomen, well, I don't hold out much hope.
My bumblefoot girl laid me another giant white egg last night. Straight into the trash it goes too. Sigh. Ate all her food too. I will unwrap it tonight and see how it looks.
Well, I think we've got her sour crop on the run. It was completely deflated today and she was acting very hungry so she has scrambled egg with olive oil and yogurt and some layer crumble, which should be easier on her than pellets and she is eating away. She completely drained her water and I refilled it with ACV water and she was guzzling like crazy. Hopefully, her crop is fixed now and she can at least get nourishment.
BTW, Bandit is crowing today. I think I heard the blue boy crow, too, but Bandit has a deep, strong crow. The other one was a tad on the weak, tinny side, LOL.
