Just not naked necks. I have a bunch of naked bellied broodies, so I shouldn't judge.
Your frizzles are awfully cute when they are not partially naked! I wish my frizzled ladies would go broody....or at least lay an egg or something. Sigh.
Nella, quit!!!!! Partridge, Buttercup, if I don't watch out I will become KathyII.
Just joking, Kathy.
Cetawin, Ivan and Boo both are big, bigger than Harriet now, and Boo promises to be as big as Ultrasuede- I want to keep them, I am hoping they will eventually rule the layers pen,and protect those girls together. However, if someone wants a mutt grandson of Suede, they are free - hint, hint. I can deliver to upper KY around November 11 or so....
My avatar, LadyHawk? hahaha Of course, that is why I have it ..... see how I am drawing them all in?
I'm lovin' all the pictures ..... Beth and Nella! They are all lookin' great! I love those broody mamas and babies. Beth, your bunch has grown SO much!
Welcome Deb and Lisa to our thread, too! Hope you come back and visit us often! Lisa, your broody picture just cracks me up. I always have to show it on the computer when my relatives visit. We all just laugh our silly heads off at that! Did you ever submit it for a "Picture of the Week?" That would be great on one of the calendars, too!
Ok, I spent about an hour and 20 minutes on this and then my brain fried. But will you dear friends please all go check out www.BeausejourFarms.com and tell me what you think.
Room, room, there may be room in the vehicle to transport, but I am SICK, SICK, I tell you, of BUILDING!!!! Nella, you come build it for me. You build it, I take them. What a deal, huh? Cetawin, SHHH!!!!!!!!!
Hahahahaha......I am actually sitting here contemplating building a double brooder unit when I get home from work today. I wonder if I could build it in 1 night? I could really use 2 more brooders......hmmmm.....Just a simple set of 2'x4' brooders. Then I could move the broody with babies into the big brooder shed, move the big cochinX hen on eggs into one of the 2x8' brooders and move the bantam cochin hen and silkie hen into the 2 new brooders. Then I would even have an EMPTY brooder. Holy cow.
