Kathy, I do so hope you sat down with a nice big cup of tea [maybe with some apricot brandy in it?] after all that chasing around of Mama EE and her girls. Sheesh woman! Did you
TELL them where they were going? And how great it's gonna be once they get here? And about the oh so handsome rooster man who is patiently waiting to greet them and welcome them into our flock? Didn't you
tell them all of these things? And they
STILL put up a fight? Silly girls!
Well, not to worry. They're going to spend a nice 24 quiet hours in the pump house first so that they can relax from their trip. Maybe put their feet up, drink some sweet water, have a bit of scrambled eggs with cheese and yogurt, and just unwind. And after a few hours of pampering by me, maybe they'll come to like me and their new home.
I do hope so. I've waited so long to be able to welcome them into the fold. I really hope their trip is completely uneventful!
Thanks again for all of your patience Kathy, and for putting up with me being so wishy washy and all. You know I'm gonna do everything I can to insure that these three live a long, comfortable and carefree life here.
I wonder if Mama is going to take a shining to Chief right away?
I'm just so excited. I doubt I'm going to sleep very well tonight, knowing they are out there, somewhere, making their way steadily towards me!!
