Scott...they are stunning!congratulations. I am so glad I got the information to Beth and she found them. After seeing pics of that place, she could have missed them without the info. LOL

redfeather - sorry about your little one...and do not feel bad getting attached, chicks are so adorable that is hard not to get attached to them.

Brandon...stay dry. It is nasty here today..cold raining and birds are ticked because they are not being let out side....angry birds. Ducks are loving it because they are outside in it. LOL

Kathy...they will be home soon...he will perk right up. Hang in there.

SnowHunter...she is the same. She had her PET scan yesterday and is seeing the neurosurgeon in about 30 minutes so hopefully I will know more today, hopefully there will be a diagnosis so we can get on with the "fixing it" part.

all of your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated and she sends her thanks. She was amazed when I told her all about you all and told her there were people literally around the country and in some cases the globe praying for her...it was very touching to her.

Nella, How is that tooth today? Did you get the root canal?

root canal at 3pm. Of course, today the tooth feels fabulous and its a different tooth on teh opposite side of my mouth hurting. I really need a root canal in both as I have fillings to close to the pulp and so pain is my BFF. Anywho, insurance ran out so I need to wait til January and then hope and pray LOL.

Hope you feel better soon, Janelle.

I received this in a PM and it has me incensed! Won't say who it was or the context. Blatant misinformation here:

All birds have CRD naturally, and the symptoms of it show when stress occurs.

That means every bird on the planet is naturally diseased and a carrier of this crud and that is simply ridiculous.

Nella..your other side does not hurt...it is the nerve shadowing...trust me. the dentist and I discussed it...he said the mind tells the tooth "Ah you bast*** you will not be hurting after today" and the tooth and nerves say "Oh yeah? Watch this." LOL He said it is a common occurrence and I have had that happen alot going through all of this dental stuff. Good luck today.

Kathy...thank you. We both thank you all.

Oh that is a load of buffalo dung in a cart. How ridiculous...please gawd tell me this person is not so stupid as to believe that crap?

Good gawd how stupid.

I guess I should run out to the coops and tell DeeDee, Ebony, Baize, Spike and his girls, the silkies and Emmett and the 3 new d'uccles to start coughing, sneezing, wheezing, get lethargic, slow down eating and show those symptoms. heck that would cut 50lbs per week off my feed bill. I mean they are were transported...DeeDee, Ebony and Baize were tortured with my music playing and me singing...and the silkies and Emmett only for 3.5 hours but still it iwas stressful I am sure.

Sadly, my other side does indeed hurt. Because I need a root canal on the bottom left too. But the upper right hurts more usually. So it goes first. It shoots up my eyeball when it hurts. The left bottom just radiates around my jaw.

Apparently a Vet tech of some sort from the state told her this garbage! That make me very angry, that they are passing around that crap. I still say that is ridiculous! If that was the case, NO birds would ever test negative for mycoplasma or CRD and all flocks would periodically have snotty noses and/or runny eyes. Mine never do. Never have in all the years I've had them and I know many folks whose flocks do not have it. To me, the gov't is full of crap about that one, sorry. I will never believe that! There would be no need for biosecurity because it couldn't be avoided. I have never, ever had to treat any bird I've ever owned for CRD or any respiratory illness and many folks can say the same. Sounds like an excuse to be lazy about disease prevention. I hope people won't buy that garbage they're selling. I don't care if it's a vet or a poultry technician who says it. If all birds were naturally disease-ridden, then I would not have them. Gloria Jean's birds are tested every four months for mycoplasmosis and hers are free of it. The ones she got from me are free of it. Horse puckey, I say! But, consider the source, right?

I got it too, and I just PMed her back...I told her BALONY!!!! Methinks someone threatened her and she is forced to backtrack. That is such a shame, I hope she realizes the truth.

I also sent her some articles so she can learn about the real deal about CRD and Mycoplasma (sp?).
