Merry Christmas everyone! I am back at home now......we did Christmas dinner last night just in case the weather was too bad for me to get or stay over there late today. Delicious! I nearly exploded.

Got a nice little tabletop grill, some great worklights and a nice new compound miter saw, complete with stand. whooooooooo. Okay so I knew I was getting it as I "approved" it around Thanksgiving, but its still nice to get it! Had a great little Christmas day with the family.....much better than last year! So nice to see everyone getting along.

Speaking of getting along, Norman and Lucy might still be working out the kinks in their relationship, but they did tolerate being near each other to both get to lay on the couch near me. Lucy on the bottom, Norman on the top.

Not best friends by far, but not screaming bloody murder is a step in the right direction!

As for Nella- those are some pretty cute cats! Not screaming bloody murder is usually, woops! I mean ALWAYS a bad thing.

Just got back from a wonderful Christmas dinner with most of my fam. It was great. And I took home two halves of two pies- pumpkin and lemon/line. Yuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyy. I brought my grandma (on the other side of the family) half a dozen eggs. I sold three dozen yesterday so wasn't able to give her a full dozen. And we got snow! Yep, a WHOLE inch!

We're real excited, though. It's the first "white Christmas" in 17 years in ATL. Plus it's the girls' first snow.

Well Christmas is drawing to an end... I'm gonna go watch Trading Places and 30 rock my friend. That's the spirit! Bye!

Here is Riley and Ike's new baby. I think it's blue, but with a brownish tinge! It's definitely not black and it has a single comb like its sibling in CA. Bandit was black, then barred with a pea/single comb type comb, so this may be a pullet, even with that big comb. Tom decided to take Nugget's eggs to hatch in the bator while she cared for the bantams, then sneak these under her when they hatched. That way, she didn't abandon the eggs to care for the banties and they weren't in here in the house, cheeping up a storm. The two Del eggs don't appear pipped, but one in particular has been rocking up a storm, so they are probably fine. Just want them hatched by tomorrow.

ETA: a Del egg just pipped! Hopefully, both will be hatched by morning and Nugget can get them and we're done.

I can hardly wait to see how Riley's new baby turns out. I absolutely love the one Ellie has. So much, in fact, I think they would make a really neat "breed!" It would be sooooo cool, Cyn, if you could produce them consistently, wouldn't it? ! A new breed, that's what we need here!

We adore Riley. She is the sweetest girl and a fabulous layer as well as pretty to look at. I'm hoping this is a girl so I'll have one of Riley's daughters here with me. The baby is now underneath Nugget, who is in a state of maternal bliss over having little ones again.
