Everyone the clorox regiem worked for me.

Now, I cut the mixed solution each time down to 1 tbs per gallon. My hens drink it just the same as they did the water before and it sure stays cleanner looking. No more clear runny noses with my hens. It sure seems good. Whether it was the water, the removal of hay from my coop, or the 5 day run previously with Duramycin in the water. I do not know but it did not seem to get any better till I started the clorox water.
Scott get that tom fixed.!!!!!!!!!! He wont even know it and he will not roam so far from home and get into fights all the time. If he does not fight he is less likey to get feline leukemia and that means less vet bills in the long run. And he will not drag a cute little girl kitty home with him that is pregnant.

Moved 7 Delawares to the hatcher just now. Two other sets are going into Day 9 (all Delawares) and Day 4 (BBS Orps, Dels and one DelxEE). Am nervous waiting to candle the BBS Orp eggs in a couple days--am really hoping at least a couple are developing.

Shadow was run off the nest by Panda and Reba and never went back so can't depend on her to incubate these for me unless she finally sticks to a nest.

I didn't add directions on the doors as everyone has their own preference. I actually enclosed 1 foot on each side and just filled the remaining space with a single door on each level. Kathy ended up not enclosing any space and doing 2 doors on each level. To each their own.

Mine completed.

That's exactly what I use mine for. I couldn't get it down the hill to the garage myself, not to mention didn't have anywhere to put it. So i have it temporarily up in my carport....and anytime I am selling birds to someone I put them up in those brooders so they are separated and contained and the people never make it past the gate

When all my other brooders were full, I also used 1 as a broody bin for that broody frizzle hen I had.......

They are so versatile

Well Heavens Cyn put that mean ole Panda in the coop with Ike so she leaves the Princess alone. How can you expect the Princess to concentrate and do her job when she is being ran off by a bully? Hehehehe Sarah has eggs hatching now, early, so far she has a black, a blue and a splash orp. I have officially put dibs on the blue and the splash...

Now on to the Diva discussion. I was contacted by a woman through Facebook about breeding. Jo to her stallion. He is a registered arabian and handsome however, he is not gonna be the baby daddy, he is just not good enough for the Diva. I naturally send his pedigree and links to pics to Beth to get her opinion and between her picking him apart and me picking him apart, looking at the potential problems from breeding the two lines and etc he has been placed in File #13.

It is hard to play Pimp to a Diva but one must do what they have to once owned by a Diva.

So, say goodbye to Majestic Marquis for he does not cut it as a baby daddy.

And footing the bill is another pleasure of being owned by a Diva.

Well having not slept a wink last night, I was texting with Sarah who was at work and no ride home. she casually says "I can walk the 5 miles so I can get a driver to drop me off" I flipped out thinking about her walking home in this cold after working all night...soooo I braved the ice hill (only took me 3 attempts to slide up it) and went to pick her up. Husband just looked at me and shook his head saying "You are going South to pick her up coming back North and passing us to get her home and then back south home again?" I said "yeah, be back in a bit".

Say a few prayers for Sarah...she is exhausted and under an awful lot but she still smiles through it all. She just needs some good news for a change.

What the heck are we doing at your place, LH? Making stuff? Selling birds? Eating ourselves into oblivion? Gosh, good thing DH bought another pet carrier so I can bring your Suede babies to you! We're being optimistic here, you know. In a couple of days, I'll candle them.

Divas, princesses, sheesh! Panda is herself a bit of a diva. She insists on living with the old ladies and Shadow, but she may change her mind when the new man in town moves into the coop (D'Uccle stud muffin, Beau, that is).

I figured out what I was craving (Lemon-something) so am baking Lemon Cream Cheese Bars to induce a sugar coma tonight.

Ummmmm yeah sounds about right. Whatever we want to do really...but everyone must play with and give attention to the diva too. It started as a building day and expanded to a weekend of building, babies, horses and hopefully a vet. Some blacksmith stuff or whatever. Oh and a birthday cake for Brandon.
