Oh LOOK!! A Mardi Gras house!!! Just kidding Cyn. I think it looks great! I meant to mention to you before you started painting that you could have mixed to two gallons together and possibly come up with a bit better color, but, it slipped my mind. My bad! It certainly is festive, isn't it? There shouldn't be any chickens suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder [SAD] through the winter in that coop!!
Well, last night was the big night here. I moved GeeGee and Gooby into the big coop. I haven't checked on them yet this morning but will be doing so shortly. And Laura, I WILL be taking the camera with me! Y'all should see the gorgeous saddles that Laura sent me.
Anyhow, Gooby has turned into quite the little toe rag towards his little sister, and the time had come to send him to his daddy for a bit of rooster sensitivity training. Chief just looked down at him last night from his high perch with an expression of disgust, tucked his head back behind his wing and went back to sleep!
Brewenna however [my great big girl] had some opinions to express about the return of GeeGee! That in itself just about gobsmacked me! Brew is such a sweet girl normally and never bothers a single soul. Consequently, I had to turn off the light in the coop to prevent any midnight bloodshed.
And on that note, if y'all will excuse me, I really do need to check on everyone and see if one little precocious cockerel is still alive!

Actually, someone did say I'd get a nice chicken-poop grayish-brown color if I mixed them, so I passed.
