The BR sexing rules apply in 90% of the cases. It's that darn 10% with confusing traits that makes me nuts.

Well, my young broody BLRW left the nest after hatching 3 chicks. (I think she was hungry!) I could have thrown the other eggs in the incubator if I had caught it in time, but I was too late. Oh well, anyway, here is mama with her 3 new chicks.....

Sorry she didn't stick to it until she had them all. How many did she let go? You know, it could be that she knows that three is her limit to raise properly.

It does make one wonder though, doesn't it? Good luck on the three she did hatch. Looks like you and Mike are going to get to have fun watching another mama raise her wee ones this year!

Morning! I'm just so happy with my 1588's, they hold temp and humidity PERFECTLY!

Kathy, she looks so happy to have her new babies! How old is the mama?
