Tomorrow is lockdown for me. Most of my eggs are quitters. Oh well, they are ALL staying in, just in case! I have the hatcher warming up and getting to the right humidity. I hope that I can get just three chicks. Just three!

I will be happy. It is not my incubator's fault, it is.... Well, sorry, but it is my neighbor's.

I don't mind, though, she was nice to turn them for me!

We changed carpets today. I came home and asked if we had any shelfliner. We had just thrown out a bunch! I dug it out of the trash, scrubbed it for a good 20 minutes, and the incubator is getting ready.

The incubator was at about 73%, but I stupidly closed the whole thing and it shot to 86%.

So, it is half way open. I suspect that it will be a while until i get it to 60-65%. Might have to suck some water out with a straw.

This is the one that the eggs aren't in. I'm transferring them into it, for lockdown.

Humidity is now at 63%! Really, it's at 67%, since my hygrometer isn't quite right.

I hope to get it to 55%, so when I close the top all the way it won't spike up that much. And, Kathy, I am hatching in eggs cartons!
