HUGE! Kathy, you should have entered him in that biggest rooster competition that Cyn participated in.

My biggest rooster is my Jersey Giant, Leggs ............. but he is just a baby and still growing. It takes 2 years for a Jersey Giant to grow, ya know.

leggs is pretty. My old JG rooster weighed 15lbs when I got rid of him right at 10-11 months old.

He was one of the meanest roosters alive

I have his sister, a JG hen. She is pretty darn big.

I now have her son, crossed with my blue cochin rooster. So he is a jersey giant/cochin. Looks like a langshan because of the somewhat feathered legs.

I also have a matching hen for him. Jersey Giant/Cochin. They are a beautiful pair.

Good Grief!! Nella! He dwarfed the girls by a margin of three to one at least!

Those poor, poor little girls! Did he break any backs in the process??

Talk about David and Goliath!!

Kathy, I love Oliver's white tail feathers. Yes, yes, I know it's not desirable, but I still love them!!

CB has them too. I call them his "Here I Am!!" feathers! Ya can spot CB from all the way down at the end of the driveway with those white tail feathers! They wave and waggle in the wind like a pair of semaphore flags!

Luanne, that little Mia with Ellie is just adorable? Does she still hang out with mama to this day?

Cosette, Maggie's daughter, still sticks close to mama to this very day. They spend all day scratching around, and roost together at night. Those two crazy ladies will even lay their eggs in the same nest box, one right after the other!

Poor GeeGee, I don't think she's ever going to be able to ditch Gooby until I move him to the boys coop. So far, he's not causing any more problems than to be a pain in GeeGee's butt feathers when she wants to lay her egg. The little toe rag will jump up into her chosen nest box and just make himself right at home! Why she puts up with it, I'll never know. I just wish Charlotte would spend as much time in her mothers company as Gooby does. I guess that's what comes of nearly 3 weeks of separation.
