This here is Amelia. She's a little bit standoffish, but still friendly by most standards.

This is Madison. She's a little lover!

And, last but not least, this is Eleanor! She's not only very friendly, but terribly curious as well. Always the first to greet me at the brooder door, too!

Her toes are just fine. She was simply getting them caught in the fabric I had laid down as a backdrop. But, sadly, she does have the green hue to her legs and feet. I had hoped that she would show signs of growing out of this, but I think it's a permanent thing.

Oh well, I hadn't planned on breeding these anyhow. I just wanted some sweeties. So far, it looks like Privette has at least that much right.

I am about ready to ship a truck load of broodies to you. I have ............ *drum roll here*
FOURTEEN broodies.

This includes 3 Barred Rocks and 2 New Hampshires. Those are the 2 pens I like to get eggs from.

I could use a broody or two as I never have a broody...some make veiled threats but that is about it here. LOL

Well I picked up 35 brazilian cherry 2 x 4s today and tomorrow our friend picks up 15 of them and brings me 30 pine 2x 4s in trade. hehehehe I can begin Pen building pronto now. Woot! These are the Brazilian cherry ones:

I would have grabbed more but that is all I could put in my little colorado truck in one load.

You got a great deal there with your bartering! I am out of 2x4s and I hate paying for new ones. However, the lumber yard is having a 20% off sale on Monday. I think I will stock up.

PS ..... I can easily ship you some of these dang broodies, too!

I am going to buidling tomorrow (er, today).

Working on some hutches for the bunnies. Going to make either 2 level or 3 level. 30" deep and 48" wide. Going to have removable dividers to make the cages 24x30 times 2 per level. I need 6 cages currently. So i will either do 2 two level hutches with 4 "holes" each. Or 1 three level hutch with 6 holes on it.

Not sure. We'll see how it looks when I'm building it!
