Well, the woman got all the way to the street over from my house and for some reason, couldn't follow my DH's easy directions and went home without calling to say she couldn't find my house.

So, I relisted Ranger here and I hope she didn't take down my ad at the feed store, but she probably did. Good grief, she was a few hundred yards from the house.

What is Ranger, besides a nice roo?

DH would KILL me if I got more chickens now. I'm stuck in the hospital until I hatch, so it's not exactly a good time.

Hope you're feeling okay, Amanda! Got a nice note from Charlotte last night about the quilt.


Ranger is a sweetheart of a Delawegger cockerel that just needs a home since no rooster here will allow him to live without being chased so he's a true Lone Ranger. Can't ship him so he has to go to someone within driving distance. I almost am ready to see if Isaac would ignore him, but DH thinks Ike would drop over dead trying to catch him in the heat.

DH would really kill me dead. But my roos don't mind another polite roo usually.

I haven't ever checked to see how far I am from DC. I'm about 8/10 of a mile from the NC border in Fannin County, GA.

LH, those videos of Junebug and Cheyenne are simply precious!!

I so love the way Delaweggers will lay their head across your shoulder and snuggle up tight! Some of the sweetest birds I know of! And the purty eggs are just a bonus! I'd love them no matter what color egg they lay!

Are they sweet from the Del side or because of having good breeders? Since I'm really not a fan of the spaztastic EEs that we've had, since every single one of them have turned into evil monster birds. In my opinion, the only good jerk chicken is the kind on my plate.

I know nothing about Dels really, other than they are cute and I like their coloring.
