Oh, I didn't say she shouldn't do it, just said it wouldn't work, in the sense that MIL/DIL relations might be blown to Kingdom Come if she decides that MIL must share the bathroom with Lancelot and assorted ladies. MIL is not one for such bathroom familiarities, from what I gather, LOL.

But, priorities are priorities. Lancelot always comes before MIL. Right, LH?

Well the birds are surviving but I am really worrying about a couple of them making it through another day of this. So, I am seriously thinking about my swap tomorrow....I really need to be there but I also really need to be here with my birds.


DH drove down to Brandon's to drop off one of the little coops I am giving to him and he brought back a gift for me. Brandon bought me a birthday gift and I do not think he knew I collect these but it is a horse from the Trail of Painted Ponies...this one is called "Dream Warriors" I was floored when I unwrapped it and actually cried. Thank you Brandon...you are such a love. Both my husband and I appreciate your kindness and generosity

That big black Breyer behind him is Midnight Sun a WGC Tenneesee Walker stud and one of my other painted ponies is to the right....that one was a gift at christmas from my mother.

Thank you so much Brandon, you really should not have but it will be atreasure among my belongings.

Well heres the coop that LH's DH brought me.

After an afternoon of tinkering and a coat of paint here it is now.

I turned it into a double decker brooder. Top floor for newly hatched chicks and bottom floor for older chicks.
