I'll be leaving Lebanon around 2pm on Thursday, not sure how long it will take to get to Knoxville from there. Its my first trip to Lebanon. Ill be traveling to there again in November. Im not real excited about the trip, lol

Lebanon is about 2-2.5 hours from here I think? But 1 hour difference in time zone. So leaving there around 2pm, would put you here around 5-6ish. I get home from work around 6ish, so thats perfect!

I'll see if she is there. If not, there are lots of other splash orp pullets there...if you wanted me to pick one or more up for you. They are $15 each (same as mine). It would have to live in a garage brooder in "quarantine" from my birds since I am NPIP, but workable.

Kathy, here were all 10 of the Orps.

The 2 obvious girls

the 6 "boys". The splash and one of these blacks are the girls I kept.

Holy crap, that means I had 4 girls and 4 boys? 1 blue and 3 black boys. Assuming none of those 4 that i got rid of were sneaky girls.....50/50......

What were you getting on the orps? like 80/20 boys?

Oh crap,I forgot...remember how you get only 1 bird every now and then with feather stubs on legs? Usually the splash? This splash has them. Brandon, lemme know if that changes things for you. Forgot about that.

I'm interested in the Buffs too, they just sound like they will be a pretty bird.

I think with all those yellow chicks, odds are you'll have something in the mix that you can use to create your own line. Do you have anymore project eggs set to hatch soon?

Sept 17th and Sept 30th. I am not setting anymore. I am gonna move the girls into the layers coop for the winter, I think.
