I'm interested in the Buffs too, they just sound like they will be a pretty bird.

I think with all those yellow chicks, odds are you'll have something in the mix that you can use to create your own line. Do you have anymore project eggs set to hatch soon?

Sept 17th and Sept 30th. I am not setting anymore.

I'll cross my fingers for more yellow babies!

Thanks! I hope so, too! These F1s are really great layers, and I just hate to get rid of them when I am done. BUT, I just can not keep everything! As soon as I know I have what I need, I will sell the F1s (though I AM keeping George, the rooster).

Howdy there sdwd'ers stopping in to check out the F2 projects

Mrs. Kathy I hate to throw a monkey wrench in the cogs right now esp. since you've already shipped out the dark chicks Thanks to Jeremy I got to studying the picture looking for the ones he was ? on maybe being the buff I came up with not likely buff barreds that'll be the buffs for sure BUT... the silver ones esp. the ones with the creamy kinda double dorsal (back) striped ones, you might ought to keep some and see if that's not your Silver Columbian girls you are trying for. We need to see some chick pics. of silver columbian marked. OK I just looked up Columbian Wyandottes in the MCMurray catalog that's one thing they are good for they do post pics of the chicks on most breeds they sell and yep some of those definately look like some pictured in the catalog. I'd keep in contact with those folks and check back with them about getting some of those back if they turn out to be the silver girls, just saying.

Thats fine she would be going in with the Lav Orps/layer pen. If shes not there please dont drag another one home. If one was to bring some disease to your birds I wouldnt be able to stand it. IF shes still there fine if not its ok. Just thought she was a pretty gal.

See I'm good fro something ever so often I reckon, sorry if I cause a panic attack, it all hit me at once like a lead balloon right on top of the head. Better thank Jeremy for being so curious too.

Thanks Jeremy for getting my interests up and a goin' this late in the day.
