Yeah New Hampshires are wheaten and they are very yellow compared to most red chickens, Im just as lost as a goose in a hail storm now. Jeff

But Im gonna keep some of those dudes to see exactly what they turn out like when I hatch mine, WTHeck, whats a FEW more mouths to feed Shoot, after a couple of three hundred or so each one added is just another drop in the bucket after a while.

Cyn, clips their wings if you have too to keep them in the pen with Rex...don't take no stuff off those wenches! Clip one side and see if that stops them and the next time clip the other side etc...it will keep them off balance in trying to strengthen the wing for flying if you switch them up. That is what I used to do with my big parrots (Macaws and Cockatoos) because they would build up strength and get airborne enough to get out if I did not throw them a curve and clip the other side and then back and then switch.
 
Wow ya'll were busy last night with out me - poor me always miss the excitement. I was reading thru that whole thing thinking oh no - i was starting to wonder about that one chick as well. Glad to hear it all turned out ok in the end.

I had toyed with the idea of making a bantam del the way you are but sounds like i would have constant panic attacks over it!
