Oh, thanks, Beth. Now I'll think of that Antonio Banderas voice every time I look at Isaac.

Sorry Nella. But saw the little guys and immediately thought of you. Any word yet?

Beth, good call with Antonio.

No word yet. Sigh.

The mottled rooster looks gorgeous. I am still in the market for a new one. I got my splash mottled boy back, and I'm growing up some young black mottled boys.....but it will be forever til they are mature enough to even choose.

I will keep a watch on CL and if they post anything again and it has a phone number, let you know. So let me know when you hear from him/her. I thought he was a good lookin boy too which is why I passed it along.

Okie dokie. I already have to have all the NH tested mid November, along with the new pair of cochins.....so may as well get all the new birds at once so everyone can be tested together

Hearing Antonio's voice is a GOOD thing- whew. I don't usually get gaga over movie stars or anything, but he sort of does me in.....

Nella, check Asheville Craigslist, if you find something, I can always go grab it for you if you can't get him right away.

Kathy, for some reason, no pics showed up for your calendar- or is it just my computer?

Shelby is doing well, no egg for me yet, but she is adjusting, eating out of my hand and yelling when she gets left alone - that girl is LOUD!

Me, either, Kathy. Is your calendar blank?

Antonio isn't bad, Beth. Was just teasing you.

Yep, she can let you know when she is displeased. She'll lay for you soon, I'm sure. She was an almost every day layer here-I think she may have skipped two days in the month since she began laying. Great shell quality so far, too.

She sat on my lap for a few minutes this morning and we discussed eggs and things. She dug herself a nest in the shavings, but I think she has decided to wait until she can be outside with the others.
She is also a good, healthy pooper!!!
