And of course, Cleo is quite chatty herself!

Never a moments peace with those two around!

They're just so dang cute together though, that I don't really mind all of the chatter. It just adds to their charm.

Now, the smell of freshly laid broody poops? Yeah! That I could completely do without!

We had a thunderstorm warning, got sideways rain plus we are under a tornado watch. Ack! At least it isn't snow!

Leave them to self mulch and mow them up in the spring, MUCH EASIER!!!!! Or throw them in the chicken pens, they love to scratch through them.

We have wayyyyyyyyy too many leaves to just leave them. Really, I mean some places they are up past my knees. TOOOOO many! Leaving them and then snow on them= moldy and stinky! Especially can not leave them in the pens. A few is fine, buy not a foot deep!

Amy, I feel quite sure that you had something to do with this.

It's too hazardous here in the woods with all the leaves on my rocky mtn land. I'll break something like I did almost 3 years ago. We need pasture land, fewer trees. Someone buy my farm, please!

Much as I love my privacy here, some things you just have to sacrifice when old age creeps up, I guess. Sigh. Weather blew over, though the tornado watch is still in effect for awhile.
