Just a quick update...... I went home on my lunch break, cuz I really wanted to check on those Barred Rock eggs. Well, 4 are fully hatched, and I think #5 will be soon.

Junebug is not only campaigning for President under a strong platform of chicken rights but she is shrewd and calculating all her moves and options. Today while Braclin was visiting she decided it was time to speed things up and so she set out to learn how to ride a bicycle so she could get around faster without so much running and walking...
The Press hounds Junebug during her riding lesson even which forced her to take new action but you can witnesses this interruptions and distractions of the Press for yourself. They never leave this candidate alone!
After thinking on it, she thought it might be better to have a driver/security guard just in case. I mean after all she is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to chicken rights and her stance on chickens (namely her of course) being more than just chickens but a people as well. So she hired on Cheyenne for the monumental task of driving and protection.
She needed a safe, quiet place away from reporters to think and contemplate the upcoming Great Debate after all competition is stiff this election and she is an independent which has its own stresses involved. She chose the crook of LH's arm for this safe place.
The insistent Press forced Junebug to seek complete solitude and sent her into hiding for a few moments of deep contemplation.
But this candidate is ready to debate the need for more equality and more rights for chickens everywhere and she will not give up until the fat hen sings! Meaning no disrespect to her big boned heavier sister chickens everywhere, Junebug is not prejudice whatsoever and believes all chickens, male and female alike deserve equal treatment and a Bill of Rights setting forth their people hood and civil liberties.
FOR THE RECORD: For those who do not know. Junebug suffered a horrendous injury and underwent months of healing, therapy and BSing LH prior to beginning her campaign. She was bulldozed over by a Black Orpington (Daughter of Suede, Speckledhen's Blue Orp avatar for his photo). Her hock was injured and not healing well or so LH thought. Nearing the time to take Junebug to a vet to determine her fate, LH caught Junebug acting fine and walking with almost no limp at all when her back was turned. This was despite the fact that when LH was watching her or examining her, Junebug was paralyzed and could not walk on it all and barely able to stand on that leg. After a long discussion between Junebug and LH, Junebug came to realize that LH was onto her and would ignore her paralysis so Junebug gave up the sympathy vote attempt and began actively circulating and campaigning for President.
So remember when you go to the Polls for this election that Junebug, while being an Independent, has worked tirelessly for all chickenkind to gain equality, more blueberries in pancakes, better and safer living conditions that include such things as TVs, radios, game systems and extra perks just for doing the job they do daily. It is hard work producing an egg everyday, wrangling bugs, avoiding predators and supplying humankind with chicken TV and she also discusses the hard work roosters put in on a daily basis ... talk about a thankless job, oh my, roosters get no respect from their flocks and rarely do they get the goodies they find or are served so

I can't help myself! I cast my vote for Junebug for Delawegger of 2012!!! Her campaign promises were just too much for me to resist.
