I will keep some New Hampshires, Barred Rocks, and others, but I am not going to keep them penned for breeding. I am just gonna enjoy them. My plan, at this point, is to only hatch projects. I still have the Brahmas, but won't keep them all.No NHs? Or will you put them in the layers pen? Did you already sell your pretty Brahmas? That male is looking really awesome.
I'm so worried about Isaac. He seems okay most of the time, but eggs that started development quit. Most didn't even develop at all, not even June's. I was left with one lone egg at Day 11 in the bator and last night, just turned it off to stop development and let it go-it was Maretta's. I had no desire, and neither did LH, to deal with a lone chick. Ike's lung capacity is certainly diminished and his vigor in general may be compromised, if these quitters were any indication.
