I posted regarding this offer earlier... if anyone is nearby and interested, I am looking for someone to share this batch with me! I can only take 3 hens, so I'm looking for someone else to take 2 hens and the rooster. anyone?

I didn't get any takers, but I think the owner of the chickens did- the listing was removed from craigslist...

If you still want hens--try Chicken Owners Outside Philadelphia or ChickenOwners.com--they are a local group that may have hens. Moyers in Quakertown will sell 17 week old ready to lay pullets for about $8 a piece. I may have chicks soon if you want to go the whole route--I have 2 broody hens and eggs in the incubator--I hope you find something--you could also post a chicken wanted listing on Craiglist...

Moyers is currently taking orders for NOVEMEBER- may as well raise from chicks at that rate. Which I am not ready to do yet.
I have a few leads from Craigslist actually- I may be picking up hens tonight! cross your fingers for me...
