I have 4 cockerels that we will otherwise eat, but for a limited time, and to BYC members only, I will offer any one of them for re-homing to someone needing a good Rooster. You may take your pick...first come, first serve, 1 per flock-in-need. Local pick-up only, and I am in SE Texas (Liberty County). PM for further details, or respond here (I will see PM's much faster).
These are back-yard mutts, free-range, flighty, with excellent pest/disease/heat tolerance, and should make handsome and gentle Roos.
They will be 25% Egyptian Fayoumis (for pest/heat tolerance, and free-ranging independence), but are effectively "easter egger" or "mutt".
Their male parent is a cross between Egyptian Fayoumis and Easter Egger. This is their dad (and HIS dad is the EF in my avatar):

Female parents are as follows (cockerels being offered are pictured below):
Either a RIR or Australorp...and don't ask how he turned out white...I have no clue. I just know he hatched from a brown egg that could ONLY have come from a RIR or an Aust. 8 wks old as of today.

Either a RIR or Easter Egger (I hatched only 1 blue egg and 1 RIR for this hatch). 11wks old as of today...(hatched on Mardi Gras). This one happens to be the largest-bodied of the cockerels, and simultaneously the most gentle...but that doesn't mean he's a lap bird. He's very flighty...just more gentle than the others once you catch him.

Same as above, but is the "other" chick...either RIR or EE. 11 wks old today (hatched on Mardi Gras).

Silver Laced Wyandotte. Yes, you read that right. His "twin" sister is light brown with freckles....looks pretty much like a typical EE. But this dude was jet black until last week when the patches started popping up. 8 wks old as of today. Of all the boys, he's the flightiest....go figure.
