I read something about a golden seabright roo needs to be hen feathered what does that mean??

It means they shouldn't have the long, curved sickle feathers on their tails. A rooster's feathering should look like the hen's. Hence the name "hen-feathered".

This male is not "hen-feathered", notice the curved sickles along the main tail?

This male is "hen-feathered", see how there are no long sickles present?

YOTR, excellent answer!

Thanks! I thought that was te meaning but the way the one thing I read was written it sounded like it was something more. So I want to keep the roo(s) that have hens' ends! Beth
