My daughter was gifted 2 seabrights... a hen and a rooster... they are beautiful birds but man are they TINY!!!!
right now we have them in a wire dog crate that has been placed in a 4`deep plastic tote (like the ones for under the bed) the idea was that the wire crate would protect them from the other birds that are standards and bantams while getting them used to one another... the plastic tote was to hold all the shavings in so that the wire crate didnt hurt their little feet.. and it has worked great!!! this is normally my ICU set up..
now the time has come we need to figure out something for a forever set up.... can I place them in my coop with the big boys and girls (20+of them) which are standard barn yard chickens and about 5 bamtams or will they not survive?
