Linux Mint, Firefox 60.0.1 (just got an update) and the search function has returned to normal operation.

Sorry, can you be more specific? What are the exact steps, pages, etc?

From the home page, if I click on "Search Forums" (brown text white background)

I get this

If I search only by text in the "Search..." box, it works. If I click on only of the blue drop down tabs (relevance/forum/user/etc) it takes me to the home page.

Using the "Search" brown drop down tab, the "More" for advanced search, I can search by Keyword and User and it works correctly

Maybe try disabling Adblocker Plus and see if that fixes it.
