My husband and I saw a PVC pipe feeder in the "Poultry" magazine that is hung on the wall. It's been working out great! We got a straight pipe about 2ft. tall ( I only have 4 chickens ) with a 6-8" section that juts out from it. He cut an area out on the top of the section that sticks out, so chicken eat the feed from there. The roundness of the pipe creates a "lip" and the food seems to stay in. We just remove the cap at the top to refill. I love it.
Hope that gives you an idea.
Hey , I found one at the feed store with a lip. It's made by Miller, seems to be working, Our little BB rooster has not been slinging feed out since I put it in the Tractor.
