Sebastapol with angel wing

My two month old seb has just developed angel wing on one side. What causes this and can I fix it? She's almost full grown. Tjanks

Not sure if wrapping would help at her age but I'd still try. make sure the wing is a normal position a side of body then wrap and be sure not to get wrap too tight. some say too much protein or genetic not sure.

Miss Lydia it is a combo of both on the Sebastopol's..... You just never know which one of the goslings are going to get angel wing or TWT wing(s). So we wrap them to try and help some. It either helps or it does not depending on the gosling and the wing problem.

I have a male with TWT on both, not too severe. I am planning on selling him but have read lots of debate on the matter of whether it's genetic or simply a diet issue while growing. He was raised with 4 other sebs as well as 6 ducks and none of the other birds have any issues (not to mention I've raised hundreds of ducks, a few dozen geese, and never had either one occur). But this is my first time with Sebs

Learycow it is just in Sebastopol's that have this genetically and can be caused with too much protein as well. It has to due with the curly feathers and the wing tip is different than other geese. If it bothers you just try and wrap it with horse wrapping tape or medical paper tape. Masking tape sticks terrible to the feathers and is a B^%&h to get off and pulls all kinds of feather's out.
Put the goose on your lap get it settled down before doing anything. Talk sweet to the goose while take the wing and put it in the natural closed position. Then take the wrap and wrap it gently around the middle of the wing Make it loose so it has room to grow and move it a bit. Leave on for a week then take it off if it still has not helped then wrap it for another week. After that if it did not work it just will not work. Good Luck.
