Sebastopol Geese Thread !!!!!!!!!! SHOW YOUR PICS !!!!!!!!!!

That doesn't look like TWT to me. It looks like a few out of place feathers or feathers that haven't twisted and dropped. The frizzle gene causes the feathers to twist and turn as they grow. Sometimes the flight or wing feathers on young birds take longer to "drop".

Your birds also look too young to determine overall quality. I think you should wait about 4-5 more weeks to see how much more curl develops on them.

saddly the show is on the 22nd of this month... if the weather stops going cool hot cool hot. i think they will stop pecking at the feathers!!!! the other show i go too is in mid oct.. so if they don't get sold at the first show hopefully next month if not hopefully my one poultry friend will take them and find them a good home.

I am looking for sebbies, particularly a young pair or trio of good breeder quality whites, and will be at the Ohio APA nationals show in October... any chance anyone here will be looking to sell some there? I have 2 proven whites from Canadian show stock, and just want to grow my gaggle a bit. This is my gander, "Hansel" back in January, he was around 6 months old when this picture was taken. You can see Gretel's chest to the right.

Ash-rose will you be at the WI International Poultry show? I'm not looking to buy anymore stock at this point, but I'm entered with an Embden and Gray Saddleback Pomeranian. Come over and say Hello :)
