Sebastopol Geese Thread !!!!!!!!!! SHOW YOUR PICS !!!!!!!!!!

How old is the gosling? Because they go through the drama queen stage where they run from everything including us that have been momma. Just a stage and when it grows up more will stop that. Just keep offering good treats to it and by your feet make sure to be sitting down. They do not find us a frightening when sitting down.

They definitely do not! All my geese scream like giant pansies when I try to do anything with them other than feed them treats!

I love the buff, wish I had some but I have enough goosies out there already! I need to post some pics of my goslings for color input. I am not sure what color they are!

NO Kim they do not but do get better when older except when you want to pick them up to check them. They act like you are going to kill them....

Hi everyone

I have a question. Is it normal for a young gander to bite? I have a White Smooth Sebbie boy about 6 months old who is starting to bite people, he has bitten 3 different people so far
sad.png
(not strangers either). He use to be so sweet. Is this normal or is it a sign that maybe he will be aggressive? I have 4 Sebbies total- 2 girls and 2 boys and he seems to be the leader of the pack.

Thanks for any input!

When he comes at people do they throw out their arms and act bigger then him or just stand there or run? You have to show ganders you are bigger then they are. Make sure they stand their ground and put their arms out and flap them to show I am bigger than you are and go walk after and chase him!!!

You need to correct him pretty darn quick or he will do it all the time. Or pick him up when he goes to bite and hold him he will then want to get away when you put him down.

Thank you JosieChick. I love Buffs and am so thrilled to have them from Celtic. They have nice deep color of buff and I like that. Not the washed out look either.
