Baby doing well we showed how to eat and made it soupy like geese seem to prefer. Looks like baby will have a saddle. We have about 20 more eggs if not more.

Thanks! Pretty geese! If the baby has a saddle, does that mean that one of the parents is masking a spot gene? Is Marshmello the Sebastopol? Sorry for my excessive curiosity.

Someday I'd love to try crossing a brown Chinese with a Sebastopol, so I'm really interested in understanding/observing the genetics.

I ordered a pair of goslings from Metzer. Attempt to incubate shipped eggs was failure. So excited for the pair arriving. What should I feed them? Have chick starter unmedicated. Thanks

If you do the chicken starter I would add 100-150 mg niacin to their water or add nutritional yeast to their feed.

I spent my monthly check buying the goslings plus a 20 pound bag of 20% starter (I have chicks also). Is there a way to keep them healthy til next month? Cat food? ? Thanks
