I know that, I have the winter shelter for the ducks so that's where they would stay in rainy or cold or windy weather. They do ship to Canada, but over airlines. So that's why I'm getting them for my birthday.

Set up pans of soil and grow winter rye in them. A bag of seed would go a long ways for you seeding this way. You can give them a pan then refil and start over. We ver seed winter rye everywhere all winter long and everyone loves it. Of course we also keep year round grass and pasture, but the WR is a great item this time of the year.

Thanks! we have 10 acres and i plan on letting them graze once i get some different fencing in my pasture. i would let them out now i'm just afraid they won't go back in their pen at night like the chickens. I've tried feeding them in morning and afternoon but they don't seem to really go crazy over it like the chickens do.and even though i don't think they are getting a ton of feed(its a little less then a quart and i have 4) they won't eat it all right away. Is flock raiser prefered over a feed specialy made for waterfowl? both the pennfields and hubbards is made for waterfowl and are 16% and no animal by products.

lol It's not that he would prefer it to be outside in the barn or something he just doesn't love the idea of little goslings and chicks in the house. lol i think he's afraid it will start smelling like a coop! lol i was thinking of the basement but we have a dehumidifer and i wonder if it would mess us the humidity in the incubator. I've go a great spot picked out in a half bath with have, of course it's right off our bedroom and i'm sure he'd love the sound of it turning all night and then the sweet sound of goslings when they hatch. lol

do you find your goose eggs to well in the Dickey? What model Brinsea do you have? Someone was trying to talk me into the Ova but it's a little out of my price range. There is a 2 month old Dickey with all the bells and whistles a few hours away for $575. i was trying to buy the one someone had a link listed for $375 but they never returned my emails

Every goose egg set it in is growing just fine. Goose eggs run on the top rack for proper space. The one listed online was an auction, not a straight buy it now from what I remember.

The Brinsea are 20's fully digetal with turners. Like I said I set call ducks in them.

Yes. Last i looked it didn't have any bids but I wanted to find out what (and if) shipping would be. DO you use all 3 racks for goose eggs? I have 2-3 females and they are 2 and 3 years old so i'm not sure how many eggs i will get from them so i was thinking of going with something smaller like a table top brinsea or rcom but i don't know if they will hatch as well. I'd love to just order one new with all the bells and whistles but all i can afford right now is used and apparently no one close really has anything used and when i do find something (like a king suro for $150) they won't ship
