Looking for people in Oklahoma who have Sebbies!! I would like to get some hatching eggs. (I've tried the shipping from out of state method - not a good experience and not all because of "shipping")

I don't think you're going to find hatching eggs anywhere this time of year. You might have better luck getting a started pair as the spring babies are starting to get "identifieable". At least mine are.

Still trying to find out when sebbies get thier long feathers. Or does it vary bird to bird? Anyone?

By the time they are 5 months old they should be displaying their long, curly feathers.

Thanks! I have some that are obvious, and a few younger ones that look almost like Americans still. You start to wonder!

Here are 5 month old goslings (the 5 on the left) to give you an idea.
One is a smooth variety.

If they're still smooth at 5 months old they aren't going to be curlies.
They may get a few longer feathers in time but they won't go from smooth
at 5 - 6 months to full fledged curly later.

I think mine are between 3 and 4 months, but they are FAT! Must be the short legs

I am starting to wonder if 2 of them were mis-represented though. Time to contact the breeder I guess.

This might help a lot of you to determine what you have.
You can easily tell curly from smooth varieties when Sebastopol goslings feathers start coming in.

With curly varieties feathers on their shoulders will stick up with fuzz showing in between the feathers.

On smooth varieties they will lay flat one on top of the other like this...

Their tails are distinctly different as well.
With curlies their tail feathers angle upward and fan out as seen on the left.
With smooth varieties their tail feathers point straight out behind them and are
folded neatly together and come to a point as seen on the right.

Hope this helps!
