Sebastopol Geese Thread !!!!!!!!!! SHOW YOUR PICS !!!!!!!!!!

If this keeps up, we'll be swimming at Christmas too. We didn't have winter last year at all. Scary!

Anyway, I have a question. Is it possible to have an older seb develop TWT in its 2nd year? I have a curly gander that seems to be getting it just in one wing. It was fine last year.

Maybe it can be corrected the following molt :) Sound like it could be contributed by environmental

causes.. who knows :(

Well- I hope I am wrong. I have seen his mate picking at that wing. So strange- the other side is totally normal.

That gosling that was picked really really bad with all the busted and missing feather shafts finally has feathers growing back in. Looks like its going to be a royal mess. Poor thing- he's such a pretty color. I guess we'll have to wait another year to see how he should really look.

Looks like TwT not AW, but more photos would be helpful since the feathers were ruffled and it's so close.

As far as wrapping, sticky at the top of the duck area shows pictures.

sorry that the pics are close up's the little ones are a little skiddish of me.. so had to caught one to get pics of it... do they know if its genitics or feed that cause it???? though i did the protein reduction timeing right but i guess not do that now it looks like two of the four gooslings got it :(

Angel wing is thought to be linked to protien levels in feed. TWT is genetic and happens with curly x curly breeding, and often is seen at the two year molt on birds who didn't show it before.
