I ordered a dozen Sebright eggs online and they arrived today. When I opened the box I was surprised to find that they were quite large. I took a photo and also compared them to an Extra Large egg from the supermarket and they are not that much smaller. I researched this breed before deciding to raise them. Of the many sites I reviewed was Wikipedia which states that Sebrights lay tiny white eggs. These eggs are definitely cream colored and on the larger side. I am incubating bantam eggs now and they are all much smaller than these. One of the reasons I wanted to try this breed is because they are among the smallest chickens, right along with Dutch Bantams. I have decided to raise all bantam sized chickens, including Seramas. I am posting a photo of the eggs with the extra large commercial egg I got from the grocery on the right end of the egg carton. What should I do? Go ahead and incubate them and hope for the best? I want to give the seller the benefit of the doubt, but maybe I'm a pushover.
