Believe it or not, there are two perches in that coop.

They just all cram onto one perch, some sleeping on top of the others!

Hehehe. They are so cute. I went ahead and penned a few up away from the others. I would have hated to find some dead chickens in the morning. I need to install more perches so maybe they will be tempted to perch further apart.

My sebrights get smooshed a lot, too! I've even seen one perched underneath one of my Rhode Island reds! And my birds are ALWAYS packed onto the upper perch. I'm thinking, 'Girls, isn't it a bit hot to be snuggled all together like that?', but they're happy, soo...

I love how the sebright in the first pic is kind of like, 'What?', looking back at the camera. (Is that a little roo or a hen? Definitely cute, either way!)
