**~~>>Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Turkey Hatchathon<<~~**all poultry welcome!

Mbm - Good choice. I had been given specific instructions to bring you over by whatever means necessary, and I was afraid, if you didn't cooperate, that it was going to get ugly. But, you dodged that bullet, by the skin of your teeth, bud, by the skin of your teeth....

OH! And, WELCOME!!

Thanks for the invite though

I have 7 turkey eggs cooking, sending out a couple today and getting ready to gather as many as the girls will give me to send to my BYC friend! Looking forward to this one ladies and gents.
Anyone have some interesting facts to share while we wait to set?
I have five in the incubator and I collected two yesterday and two today.

Hi, all! I'd like to join as we'll. I'll definitely be setting chicken eggs around that time, working on getting some turkey eggs (may be a few days off the set date tho.) It'll be my first time setting turkey eggs, so looking forward to following along.

Hi Everyone , Very excited about this hatch along ! We bought 2 last year but lost 1 to our pigs and the other our daughter's horse managed to step on .They were such cute little guys & pretty friendly the kids were pretty sad that they were gone. I'm really looking forward trying again this year. I've been browsing for eggs and was wondering does anyone on here happen to have some eggs they'd be willing to sell a newbie turkey hatcher ? I've found some on eBay but I'm a bit leery buying off of there . Not picky on the breed at all I like them all

I finally made it over to the thread-- been busy with the turkeys. Building new coops and separating out the breeds. I have too many Auburn toms and no hens. A trio of sweet grass, and a pair of narrigansetts.( maybe) and two groups of Bourbon reds. Now if they would just start laying!!

Now back to the first page to catch up!!

I'll join in! I'm going to try to get some bourbon red hatching eggs (if I can find some locally). If not, I'll set more wyandotte eggs! I've been having a ball hatching eggs this year and I don't want the fun to stop!

Got my Tracking number from Jessshan8 today! So eggsited its my first time doing Duck and Turkey eggs. :)

Speaking of which my last batch of game eggs I ended up with 12 outa 13, the 13th baby got half way out and died? Its yolk sac wasn't absorbed all the way and was an icky greenish yellow and was kinda goopy? Oh well close enough. :)
