I don't know why it scares you, I believe it's used for parasites in humans as well. Like I say, I've had the liquid on my hands countless times (very large flock here) and even had it get splattered across my lips when a chicken suddenly flapped it's wing. No ill effect, but I'm not pregnant either, I'd be more careful then.
Now that I've gone back and read the box again I have no idea what it was that scared me so much.

I use Ivermectin all the time, have had it spilled all over me & splashed in my face as well. It tingles a bit (like rubbing alcohol) as it dries on your skin but other than that I haven't noticed any effects from it at all. If you really want rid of it, PM me & I'll swap ya some more eggies for it.

As for Sevin, what I really meant was DE. I have no idea why I said Sevin.

Sevin is much more toxic & is NOT recommended for use on animals. It's actually illegal to use it on animals according to the labeling.

I'll see what I can do. I just don't see us ever using it and I can always use more eggs!

I have a pip and I can hear some peeping comig from my bator!!! SO excited.....

I have more turkey eggs coming tomorrow and just got call duck eggs from SilkieSensaton today... Yay!!!!

My hatch is in full swing. I have ten turkey eggs pipped. I have ten turkey poults running around in a brooder. I was pretty excited that I got four black ones this time, the rest are all slates. I had one black poult pip and then die without making it out of the shell

I should have intervened sooner.

I have two tutors pipped so far (Iowa Blues).

And I'm very excited that the first two of my own call duck eggs are pipped !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first time I tried setting them, I had six clears. I think my boys have it down now. There are about seven more growing in the incubator for the next 28 day hatch.

I have nine ducklings hatched so far! Have assisted one that was malpositioned - have been staring at the dime sized hole didn't change for eight hours and knew it was time to go in when I could see the upper mandible was top side up instead of down. Happy duckling now.

I lost a poult and my little Lucky has curled toes. I am not even sure it can see. Do the band aid prosthesis work the same on duck feet?
